The team are launching our “Wheels Appeal 2017”. We are in the process of fundraising for a new control vehicle to replace our current Mobile 2. The new vehicle will be designed to meet the changes in technology and how we, as a team, can adapt our role within Mountain Rescue to assist the Emergency Services during local and national emergencies such as Storm Desmond in 2015. The new vehicle project will cost in the region of £40,000 for the cost of the vehicle and the full conversion. We have already had a cracking start to the appeal, news of which will be posted on our Facebook page and this website.
