Team paged by Cumbria Police to assist in the search for a missing person suspected to be in the Eggerslack woods area. As we were preparing our search teams (in which we had requested assistance from Duddon & Furness MRT and Lakes search dogs), we received news that the person had been found by a member of the public. The search teams were stood down whilst members from Kendal team attended the casualty and stretchered them down to an awaiting ambulance.
