Team called to assist NWAS with a casualty who had sustained a leg injury whilst walking along a path close to Brigsteer. Some team members were just finishing a talk and visit to Kendal Care Home and were able to respond quickly. The casualty was placed on the NWAS scoop stretcher and carried the short distance to the land ambulance.
