Team called by Cumbria Police, a female walker had slipped whilst on Winder Fell and sustained a suspected ankle fracture. she was stretchered down safely to an awaiting NWAS ambulance which was waiting for us in Sedbergh. It was good to work alongside Kirkby Stephen MRT who responded to our request for assistance.
