Team called by Cumbria Police after a walker suffered a lower leg injury. The casualty was close to Cautley Spout which sits on the border of our own and Kirkby Stephen MRT areas. Both teams deployed and once on site confirmed that the woman had a suspected lower leg fracture. Once treated on scene the casualty was stretched down and transferred to a waitingNWAS crew at the Cross Keys. IT was good. to work alongside neighbouring teams again. We wish the casualty a full recovery.
