The team was paged by NWAS, requesting our assistance. A mountain biker had taken a fall at Chapel House Woods, Staveley-in-Cartmel, and they could not access the casualty with the ambulance. As team members arrived on scene, helimed was requested, and the team were able to guide them to a suitable landing site, and stretcher the casualty the intervening distance.
