This month we headed to Rainsborough Crag in Kentmere to practise operating on very steep ground and to conduct a safe “stretcher lower” over steep and difficult terrain. Weather remained ideal allowing control in M2 to observe through the binoculars. This training also allows team members to practise new skills, such as cas site manager and i/c rope rigging, whilst under the watchful and guiding eye of experienced team members. Every day is a learning day in MR.
