Team training in Scotland took place last weekend, training included working as a team to clear snow away from a casualty caught in an avalanche, as well as use of transceivers, probes & shovels. After the Dec 2015 floods the team received grants from various bodies to update/replace and renew our Swift Water Equipment. Team training at Kendal castle, this evening we went through our procedures for aiding people up and down steep/unfamiliar terrain. Often it is a simple case of using a rope as a support.
