This month, the team combined search and medical for a training exercise in Staveley. A scenario was set with a reported missing fell runner. The team had to put together a search plan using team members and one of our search dogs. With the casualty found, our focus switched to treating the casualty for hypothermia and a broken leg, and then transporting them from the hill. Fortunately for us the sunny weather made for a good day out.
